Entièrement construite en pierre de taille, la lanterne se compose d'une série de gradins circulaires sur la partie supérieure desquels est installée une grande colonne cylindrique, de maçonnerie pleine. La partie supérieure, qui couronnait cette colonne, n'existe plus. Elle semble avoir été faite d'une série de petites colonnettes surmontées d'un chapeau conique. A la base de la colonne, existe encore l'autel de pierre composé de deux piédroits ornés chacun de deux colonnettes accouplées, et d'une grande dalle de pierre moulurée, formant table.

History
Entirely built of ashlar, the lantern consists of a series of circular steps on the upper part of which is installed a large cylindrical column of solid masonry. The upper part, which crowned this column, no longer exists. It appears to have been made of a series of small columnettes surmounted by a conical cap. At the base of the column, there still exists the stone altar composed of two jambs each decorated with two coupled columnettes, and a large moulded stone slab forming the table.
