History
A Mint hôtel existed at this location at least from the second half of the 16th century, but the main building facing the rue de la Monnaie was rebuilt shortly before 1734. In 1772, the suppression of the Tours mint resulted in the sale of all the hôtel's buildings to Olivier Normand. In 1845, the Mint hôtel housed the School of the Brothers of Christian Doctrine and shops. It was restored from 1976 to 1978.
