Historique
Avant la Révolution, l'ensemble appartenait au chapitre de Tours. Un porche de pierre décoré d'un large chanfrein du 15e siècle, donne accès à un ensemble troglodyte. Une longue galerie taillée dans le roc mène à la chapelle dont le mur latéral droit est le seul en maçonnerie. Il est percé de plusieurs fenêtres des 14e et 15e siècles, d'un oculus, de deux petites fenêtres à arc surbaissé, et d'une en ogive à remplage trilobé. La porte se place sous un grand arc surbaissé dominant deux fenêtres quasi jumelles à linteau arrondi et chanfrein. A l'intérieur, le retable de la fin de la Renaissance a été construit en pierre de taille. La place de l'autel est marquée par un creux. History
Before the Revolution, the whole belonged to the chapter of Tours. A stone porch decorated with a wide chamfer of the 15th century, gives access to a troglodytic complex. A long gallery cut into the rock leads to the chapel whose right side wall is the only one in masonry. It is pierced by several windows of the 14th and 15th centuries, an oculus, two small windows with depressed arch, and one in ogive with trilobed tracery. The door is placed beneath a large depressed arch dominating two almost twin windows with rounded lintel and chamfer. Inside, the retable of the late Renaissance was constructed in ashlar stone. The place of the altar is marked by a hollow. A door with chamfer and depressed arch opens onto a reduced room cut into the rock. The vault of the chapel is also cut into the rock.
