Halles comptant parmi les plus importantes construites en bois existant en France. Elles se composent d'un vaisseau divisé en trois nefs sous comble à deux pentes, et comportant seize travées dans la nef centrale, onze dans les parties latérales, dont trois travées du côté ouest et deux du côté est englobées au 19e siècle dans des constructions qui masquent les façades des halles. A l'intérieur les travées sont formées par de grandes fermes composées de poteaux, arbalétriers, entraits, poinçons et liens.

History
Market halls among the most important wooden constructions existing in France. They consist of a vessel divided into three naves under roof with two slopes, and comprising sixteen bays in the central nave, eleven in the lateral sections, of which three bays on the west side and two on the east side were enclosed in the 19th century within constructions which mask the façades of the halls. Inside the bays are formed by large frames composed of posts, rafters, ties, collars and braces.
