Historique
Ray était un fief relevant de la châtellenie de Sainte-Julitte. Le château est constitué par un bâtiment rectangulaire élevé d'un rez-de-chaussée, de deux étages et d'un comble, et épaulé à ses angles par des contreforts amortis d'échauguettes. Sur la façade nord-ouest fait saillie une tour polygonale contenant l'escalier en vis. Les percements ont été agrandis au 17e siècle et leurs meneaux ont disparu. Le colombier cylibdrique subsiste à l'ouest du château.

History
Ray was a fief subject to the castellany of Sainte-Julitte. The castle is constituted by a rectangular building raised from a ground floor, two storeys and a roof space, and buttressed at its angles by buttresses crowned with corner turrets. On the north-west façade projects a polygonal tower containing the spiral staircase. The openings were enlarged in the 17th century and their mullions have disappeared. The cylindrical dovecote remains to the west of the castle.
