History
Of the priory there remain only the walls of the polygonal apse. Walls, windows and buttresses are dilapidated. The construction of this chapel must date back to the time of the foundation of the priory by the abbey of Cormery, around the 9th century, which would be confirmed by the base of the walls in small rubble stone. The walled openings appear to date to the 11th century. The entire upper part was rebuilt probably in the 15th century. Near the chapel is found a well with a 16th-century rim, decorated with pilasters and mascarons.
