Historique
Saint-Laurent était un prieuré cure appartenant à l'abbaye de Beaulieu. Ancienne église prieurale, désaffectée à la Révolution, dont les parties les plus anciennes remontent au 11e siècle, vendue comme bien national en 1798. Des fouilles ont attesté la présence d'un édifice religieux du 8e siècle à cet emplacement. L'édifice présente actuellement un plan en croix latine. La nef du 11e siècle est pourvue d'un transept avec absidiole. Le choeur est formé d'une travée droite et d'une abside, du 12e siècle. L'église reçut quelques modifications au 17e siècle. Le portail a été démoli en 1938. Des fouilles ont été effectuées en 1901, et des sondages en 1988.

History
Saint-Laurent was a priory curacy belonging to the abbey of Beaulieu. Former priory church, abandoned at the Revolution, whose oldest parts date back to the 11th century, sold as national property in 1798. Excavations have attested the presence of a religious building of the 8th century at this location. The building presently has a Latin cross plan. The nave of the 11th century is provided with a transept with absidiole. The choir is formed by a straight bay and an apse, of the 12th century. The church received some modifications in the 17th century. The portal was demolished in 1938. Excavations were carried out in 1901, and soundings in 1988.
