D'après la tradition, l'église primitive fut fondée par Saint-Martin à la fin du 4e siècle. Elle fut reconstruite au 10e siècle. Au 12e siècle, l'abside à cinq pans fut remplacée par une travée supportant un clocher. Le choeur a été reconstruit au 18e siècle. Un collatéral méridional fut ajouté à la nef au 19e siècle. Le mur nord de la nef est un vestige de l'église du 10e siècle. Le clocher octogonal mais fut arasé ou inachevé. Dans la nef, sur le parement du mur nord, subsistent des vestiges de peintures murales du 12e siècle.

History
According to tradition, the primitive church was founded by Saint-Martin at the end of the 4th century. It was rebuilt in the 10th century. In the 12th century, the five-sided chevet was replaced by a bay supporting a bell tower. The chevet was rebuilt in the 18th century. A south aisle was added to the nave in the 19th century. The north wall of the nave is a vestige of the 10th century church. The octagonal bell tower was cut down or left unfinished. In the nave, on the facing of the north wall, there remain vestiges of wall paintings of the 12th century.
