History
This building is the only surviving building of the conventual establishments erected after the introduction of the Saint-Maur reform in 1662. Its foundation stone was laid on 3 February 1700. This building is perfectly representative of Maurist architecture, notably by the quality of the stereotomy of its rib vaults. It consists of a main dwelling block parallel to the church, and a wing returning towards the south, and stood at the centre of the monastery gardens. The council chamber is adorned with woodwork.
