A l'origine, l'église était une simple chapelle. Elle fut érigée en cure vers 1229, puis désaffectée à la Révolution. L'édifice comprend une nef accompagnée de deux collatéraux, datant du début du 13e siècle, suivie de deux travées de choeur de la fin du 12e siècle. Le choeur est accosté de deux chapelles ajoutées au 16e siècle. La nef et ses collatéraux sont couverts de voûtes angevines. Le clocher élevé au 12e siècle sur la travée du bas-côté nord du choeur est construit sur plan carré.

History
Originally, the church was a simple chapel. It was raised to a cure around 1229, then desecrated at the Revolution. The building comprises a nave accompanied by two aisles, dating from the early 13th century, followed by two bays of choir from the late 12th century. The choir is flanked by two chapels added in the 16th century. The nave and its aisles are covered with Angevin rib vaults. The bell tower raised in the 12th century over the bay of the north aisle of the choir is built on a square plan.
