Historique
La Rochefuret relevait certainement de la commanderie de Ballan. En 1638, elle appartenait à Nicolas Leroux, maire de Tours et trésorier au bureau des finances, constructeur probable de la partie médiane de l'édifice, constituant le manoir primitif. Chaque façade en est divisée en trois travées, la centrale étant surmontée d'un fronton triangulaire soutenu par des pilastres. La porte de la façade sud a son linteau décoré d'un médaillon meublé d'instruments de musique. De part et d'autre de ce pavillon central, deux ailes de même élévation ont été ajoutées au 19e siècle dans son prolongement.

History
La Rochefuret certainly fell within the commandery of Ballan. In 1638, it belonged to Nicolas Leroux, mayor of Tours and treasurer at the finance bureau, probable builder of the central part of the building, constituting the original manor. Each façade is divided into three bays, the central one being surmounted by a triangular pediment supported by pilasters. The door of the south façade has its lintel decorated with a medallion furnished with musical instruments. On either side of this central pavilion, two wings of the same elevation were added in the 19th century in its extension.
