Ancienne église paroissiale de la commune de Saint-Symphorien-les-Ponceaux, supprimée et réunie à celle d'Avrillé en 1817. L'édifice se compose d'une nef et d'un choeur carrés. La façade a été refaite au 12e siècle, et est percée d'une porte en plein cintre dont le rouleau est circonscrit par une archivolte moulurée de chevrons. Le mur de refend supporte un clocher pignon à deux arcades.

History
Former parish church of the commune of Saint-Symphorien-les-Ponceaux, suppressed and united with that of Avrillé in 1817. The building consists of a nave and a square choir. The façade was remade in the 12th century, and is pierced with a round arch door whose roll is circumscribed by a chevron-moulded archivolte. The upper dividing wall supports a porch tower with two arcades.
