History
The construction of the building probably dates back to the 15th century, presenting itself then as an orthogonal courtyard castle, regularly flanked. Currently, the building presents a U-shaped plan. Only the west and south sides of the quadrilateral and part of the northern curtain wall remain. The buildings closing the courtyard to the east and north were destroyed during the works of the 19th century (transformation of the courtyard facades). The entrance structure is flanked by watchtowers at the angles, with covered machicolations forming a wall-walk, and a parapet adorned with trefoil arches. This ensemble is characteristic of the late medieval fortified castles in this region.
