The old priory of Saint-Génitour comprises four periods of construction: 12th, 13th, 15th century and modern period. The choir, composed of two bays and a flat chevet, dates from the 12th century, and is lit by windows with colonettes presenting sculpted bases and capitals. The lateral walls were pierced in the 15th century. On the exterior, the gable was remade in the 15th century, as well as the crockets with curled cabbage leaves and the cross which terminates it. The bell tower dates from the late 12th century. It originally had four storeys, three solid and the last openwork. This bell tower was isolated on the south side of the nave which was probably covered with roof structure. In the 13th century, following a fire, the entire nave was destroyed. In the new construction the choir was preserved, to which was adjoined to the north a chapel with flat chevet. The lower storey of the bell tower was demolished to transform the base into a south transept. Two large chapels forming like a second transept were added at the end of the 13th century on the first bay of the nave. In the 15th century, a lateral chapel was added to the south, against the choir and its chapels.
