Historique
Le fief des Piliers était l'emplacement des Piliers de Justice ou Fourches patibulaires de la Justice du Blanc. L'ancienne chapelle des condamnés, à demi enterrée, existe encore. C'est une salle tout en longueur, divisée en trois travées par des doubleaux de section carrée, et voûtées d'arêtes nervées à quatre pans. Des têtes grotesques forment les culots recevant les nervures et les formerets. L'ancienne entrée se faisait dans l'axe par un escalier de six marches, fermé par une porte de bois à claire-voie donnant sur un petit vestibule. History
The fief of the Pillars was the location of the Pillars of Justice or Gallows of the Justice of Blanc. The old chapel of the condemned, half buried, still exists. It is a hall entirely in length, divided into three bays by doubleaux of square section, and vaulted with ribbed vaults on four sections. Grotesque heads form the corbels receiving the ribs and the formeret arches. The old entrance was made in the axis by a staircase of six steps, closed by a wooden door with bars opening onto a small vestibule. To the right is found a narrow cell with an embrasure allowing the condemned to hear mass. To the left is situated the old staircase giving access to the exterior.
