History
In 1746, Louis XV made a gift of the castle to Mme de Pompadour who, from 1750 to 1754, undertook the restructuring of the village. Taking up the architectural techniques of contemporary constructions carried out by the Marquise de Pompadour, the pediment façade of La Bellassière was built around 1750, in front of the wheat mill to hide it and to match the small château d'Aunay.
