The château is the result of several building campaigns. In the second half of the 16th century the outbuildings and the East wing with its pavilion to the south were erected. From 1754, the layout of the north wing was transformed, which resulted in the alteration of the façade facing the courtyard, provided with an additional bay gained from the old demolished staircase tower at the same time. In the 19th century, the northern façade of the north wing was also modified to conform to the neo-classical fashion. The building retains a room wainscoted in rococo style, and panoramic wallpaper from 1851. The terrace over the Conie could contain archaeological remains of the medieval château.
