L'église Saint-Hilaire est la plus vaste et la plus ancienne des trois églises de Nogent-le-Rotrou. La construction primitive date du 11e siècle, et le choeur polygonal du 13e siècle. History
The church of Saint-Hilaire is the largest and oldest of the three churches of Nogent-le-Rotrou. The original construction dates from the 11th century, and the polygonal chevet from the 13th century. At the beginning of the 16th century, the nave was constructed in flamboyant ogival style. In the middle of the 16th century were erected the tower and bell tower in Renaissance style. In the 19th century, a plaster vault was constructed in the nave, 14 stained-glass windows executed by the Lorin workshop in Chartres were installed, and the parish cemetery to the south of the church was removed.
