History
Before 1828, the castle comprised a main body, two return wings, and four towers. A ditch surrounded the building, access to which was by a drawbridge. The external aspect of all these buildings has undergone no major modification since 1750. The west façade, Renaissance, is ornamented with pilasters with bossage and decorated capitals. The east façade was entirely remade in the 18th century. Inside, the painted fireplaces appear to date from the 18th century. The outbuildings also date from this period, and consist of a ground floor flanked by two corner pavilions. Near the outbuildings stands a dovecote. Behind this extends a walled vegetable garden, whose west end is occupied by an orangery.
