History
The two enclosures are characteristic examples of the series of rectangular enclosures of the 'Viereckschanze' type present in the region. The first enclosure has only preserved its ditches to the south-east and to the north, whilst the earth rampart is preserved over the entire trace. It presents raised angles. The second enclosure is cut off at the west. The south angle is marked by a small mound enclosed by wide ditches at the highest point of the enclosure. The angles of the earth rampart are also raised. These are two enclosures of function doubtless of a cultic nature, dating from the Iron Age.
