Vestige d'un important donjon que l'on attribue à Pierre de Giac, seigneur de Jouy en 1346, chancelier de France de 1373 à 1388, mort en 1407, et que l'on date des environs de 1370-1380. Le donjon est une construction sur plan carré, flanquée de tours circulaires aux angles. L'intérieur présentait plusieurs étages reliés par un escalier. Le rez-de-chaussée est couvert en berceau brisé et est éclairé par deux archères. Le premier étage est voûté d'ogives élevées sur des colonnettes d'angle aux chapiteaux ornés de feuillages. Les deux étages supérieurs sont recouverts d'un plancher. Au niveau du deuxième étage, la tour sud-est était aménagée en chapelle.

History
Vestige of an important keep that is attributed to Pierre de Giac, lord of Jouy in 1346, chancellor of France from 1373 to 1388, died in 1407, and that is dated to around 1370-1380. The keep is a construction on a square plan, flanked by circular towers at the angles. The interior presented several storeys connected by a staircase. The ground floor is covered with a broken barrel vault and is lit by two arrow slits. The first floor is rib-vaulted and rises on small corner columns with capitals decorated with foliage. The two upper storeys are covered with a floor. At the level of the second storey, the south-east tower was fitted out as a chapel.
