Historique
Cette église a été édifiée au cours de la 1ère moitié du 12e siècle. L'église se compose d'une nef sans bas-côtés, couverte par une charpente apparente ; d'un choeur voûté en berceau plein cintre et d'un sanctuaire sur plan demi-circulaire, voûté en cul de four. Sur le côté sud du choeur se trouve le clocher dont le rez-de-chaussée, couvert par une voûte en coupole, s'ouvre sur une absidiole demi-circulaire voûtée comme le sanctuaire. Sur le côté nord du choeur se trouve un genre de bas-côté ou de chapelle qui paraît être le reste d'un premier édifice datant du 11e siècle. Cette chapelle renfermait peut-être des reliques car elle est fermée vers l'ouest par des arcatures s'ouvrant sur la petite nef longeant la nef principale. La flèche et le dernier étage du clocher furent déposés en 1903 à cause du danger qu'ils représentaient pour la sécurité publique.

History
This church was built in the first half of the 12th century. The church is composed of a nave without aisles, covered by exposed roof structure; a choir vaulted in round arch barrel vault and a sanctuary on a semi-circular plan, vaulted with a coved vault. On the south side of the choir is the bell tower whose ground floor, covered by a domed vault, opens onto a semi-circular apsidiole vaulted like the sanctuary. On the north side of the choir is a kind of aisle or chapel which appears to be the remains of a first building dating from the 11th century. This chapel perhaps contained relics as it is closed to the west by arcading opening onto the small nave running alongside the main nave. The spire and the last storey of the bell tower were removed in 1903 because of the danger they represented for public safety.
