Les premiers seigneurs sont connus vers 1380. La construction de l'édifice semble remonter au 15e siècle. Il fut restauré au 16e. History
The first lords are known around 1380. The construction of the building appears to date from the 15th century. It was restored in the 16th. In a survey of 1723, the château is described as a main dwelling in pavilion form, with three corner towers, the fourth having collapsed ten years before the survey. The whole was surrounded by water-filled moats, crossed by a wooden bridge. Court and service yard were enclosed by walls. Subsequently, the moats were filled in and the enclosure walls demolished. A second corner tower disappeared in the 19th century. The building was again restored around 1880.
