History

The oldest part dates back to the 15th century (lower and upper chambers). In the 16th century, the distribution of openings was modified and a stone stair turret was added. One wing of the manor was extended. In the 19th century, partitions were redone, as were wainscoting and joinery which may date from the Romantic period and are inspired by Louis XVI decoration. Work made it possible to reveal lime render decoration covered with decorative paintings, a rare tapestry decoration of civil origin. These fragments consist of linear rinceaux with interlacing leaves, the whole forming a blue-brown monochrome on a light background. The window embrasures are decorated with scrolling on a yellow background. The part of the painting located between the fireplace and the north façade contains Gothic inscriptions from the end of the 15th century. Another room retains a painted beam ceiling, probably from the 17th century.
