La grand'maison de l'argentier de Charles VII, specimen remarquable de demeure civile médiévale, fut construite de 1443 à 1450. Les maîtres d'oeuvre furent peut-être Colin Le Picart (maître maçon) et Jean de Blois (maître charpentier). Le plafond peint de la chapelle a été restauré en 1869 par le peintre Denuelle.

History
The grand house of the treasurer of Charles VII, a remarkable specimen of medieval civil dwelling, was built from 1443 to 1450. The master masons were perhaps Colin Le Picart (master mason) and Jean de Blois (master carpenter). The painted ceiling of the chapel was restored in 1869 by the painter Denuelle.
