Edifice rural dépourvu de clocher, et se terminant par un chevet à pan coupé, qui se veut représentatif d'un grand nombre de bâtiments vernaculaires construits selon la technique du torchis pur, non associé à une structure autre, répandus jusqu'au début du 20e siècle. Il s'agit d'une architecture moulée. Cette construction moderne en pisé serait bâtie sur les fondations de l'église Saint-Jean de Marguestand, qui se trouvait près de la fontaine de Laparra réputée guérir les fiévreux, et qui existait déjà au 13e siècle.

History
Rural building without a bell tower, and terminating in a chevet with a chamfered angle, which is intended to be representative of a large number of vernacular buildings built according to the technique of pure daub, not associated with any other structure, widespread until the early 20th century. This is moulded architecture. This modern construction in rammed earth would be built on the foundations of the church of Saint-Jean de Marguestand, which stood near the fountain of Laparra reputed to cure fever sufferers, and which already existed in the 13th century.
