Historique
Moulin construit en 1781 par Louis Martin de Bellerive. Cet édifice important à trois niveaux, essentiellement en maçonnerie de brique, est flanqué de deux tourelles sur la façade Est, côté prise d'eau. Le bâtiment présente sur cette même élévation en soubassement huit piles à avant-becs en pierre de taille très bien appareillées et l'intégralité des huit cuves avec leurs trompes, également en pierre de taille, qui contenaient les roues hydrauliques horizontales. Au rez-de-chaussée, la salle de meunerie conserve pour tout vestige, au nord-est, l'emplacement d'un massif en pierre où étaient logées quatre paires de meules. Elle est divisée au centre par une rangée de cinq piliers massifs en pierre de taille soutenant le plancher de l'étage ; le premier étage possède le même type de dispositif avec trois piliers soutenant cette fois la charpente. Arrêté en 1911après la rupture de la chaussée, le moulin n'a pas repris son activité. Un programme de réhabilitation est entrepris par l'Association Midi-Pyrénées pour la Sauvegarde du Patrimoine au milieu des années 1980, les abords sont dégagés la charpente de la toiture est refaite mais non couverte. La restauration est ensuite interrompue.

History
Mill constructed in 1781 by Louis Martin de Bellerive. This important three-storey building, essentially in brick masonry, is flanked by two turrets on the East facade, on the water-intake side. The building presents on this same elevation at ground level eight piers with cutwater in very well-dressed ashlar stone and the entirety of the eight tanks with their troughs, also in ashlar stone, which contained the horizontal water wheels. On the ground floor, the milling room preserves as its sole vestige, in the north-east, the site of a stone structure where four pairs of millstones were housed. It is divided at the centre by a row of five massive pillars in ashlar stone supporting the floor of the upper storey; the first floor possesses the same type of arrangement with three pillars supporting this time the roof structure. Halted in 1911 after the rupture of the dam, the mill did not resume its activity. A rehabilitation programme was undertaken by the Association Midi-Pyrénées for the Preservation of Heritage in the middle of the 1980s, the surroundings are cleared and the roof structure is remade but not covered. The restoration is subsequently interrupted.
