Ce pont donnait autrefois passage au chemin reliant Puycelsi au village de Laval, siège d'une communauté religieuse au Moyen-Age. En 1974, le cours de la Vère fut détourné à l'occasion du remembrement et le pont désaffecté. C'est un ouvrage de quatre-vingt-six mètres de long, à trois arches en plein cintre. Il est construit en appareil irrégulier de calcaire local. Son tracé forme un ligne brisée très prononcée. Le pont doublait la largeur de la rivière qui, à l'époque, subissait de fortes crues.

History
This bridge formerly gave passage to the path linking Puycelsi to the village of Laval, seat of a religious community in the Middle Ages. In 1974, the course of the Vère was diverted on the occasion of land consolidation and the bridge was abandoned. It is a structure eighty-six metres long, with three round arches. It is built in irregular masonry of local limestone. Its outline forms a very pronounced broken line. The bridge doubled the width of the river which, at that time, experienced heavy flooding.
