Historique
Ce moulin est attesté en 1445 ; il fait aujourd'hui partie d'un ensemble d'un seul tenant comprenant une tour médiévale reliée au moulin par un bâtiment du 16e siècle. En 1795 il possède trois paires de meules, deux pour la mouture du blé et une pour la production d'huile. Il est arrêté en 1865. La toiture en mauvais état est dérasée en 1962 et remplacée par une dalle de béton servant de terrasse pour consolider l'ensemble. De cet édifice en pierre il subsiste au rez-de-chaussée deux paires de meules en place et en sous-sol les trois cuves en pierre de taille des rouets ; à l'extérieur une quatrième cuve plus petite et adossée au canal de fuite du moulin, servait, d'après la tradition, de moulin à tan pour des tanneries toutes proches.

History
This mill is attested in 1445; it now forms part of a single complex comprising a medieval tower connected to the mill by a 16th-century building. In 1795 it has three pairs of millstones, two for grinding wheat and one for oil production. It ceased operation in 1865. The roof in poor condition is demolished in 1962 and replaced by a concrete slab serving as a terrace to consolidate the ensemble. Of this stone building there remain on the ground floor two pairs of millstones in place and in the basement the three ashlar stone tanks of the waterwheel mechanisms; outside a fourth smaller tank, built against the mill's water outlet, served, according to tradition, as a tanning mill for nearby tanneries.
