L'immeuble fait partie d'un ensemble qui s'étendait depuis la porte fortifiée jusqu'à la place de la Bride, entre les remparts nord et la Grande-Rue au sud. Il semble que, dès le 14e siècle, une série de bâtiments se soit édifiée entre ce mur et la rue principale, avec boutiques en façade (arcatures brisées au rez-de-chaussée). Cet édifice présente une façade à devanture de boutique sur la Grande Rue. En arrière, une cour intérieure en forme de trapèze, avec galerie à l'ouest au niveau du premier étage et galerie à l'est au deuxième étage. History
The building is part of an ensemble which extended from the fortified gate to the place de la Bride, between the northern ramparts and the Grande-Rue to the south. It seems that, from the 14th century onwards, a series of buildings was erected between this wall and the main street, with shops on the façade (broken arcatures on the ground floor). This building presents a façade with shop front on the Grande Rue. Behind, an interior courtyard in trapezium form, with gallery to the west at first-floor level and gallery to the east at second-floor level. To the north of this courtyard, between it and the rampart, a passage and wooden staircase lead from the ground floor to the first floor. In the north-east angle of the courtyard, another spiral staircase connects the first and second floors. To the north of the rampart, a projection shelters superimposed rooms within the structure. To the east of this building extends a large garden. To the west, the façade is decorated with bands carved with heads.
