Cette maison figure dans le compoix de 1343. Les deux façades présentent des vestiges romans. La porte de l'immeuble voisin mène à une cour adjacente sur laquelle une tourelle gothique s'ouvre par une porte sculptée du 15e siècle. L'édifice se distingue des autres constructions d'Albi, en briques, par ses murs de pierre appareillée. Sur la rue Saint-Etienne, la partie de façade située à l'est, présente une élévation en pans de bois et briques, mais conserve à divers endroits l'appareil de pierre. Sur cette même rue a été conservé, près de l'angle ouest, un arceau roman. L'arc en plein cintre est entouré d'une archivolte sculptée de palmettes et se continuant, latéralement, par deux bandeaux horizontaux, située au niveau des tailloirs des chapiteaux et leur faisant suite. Les colonnettes de l'encadrement, adossées, ont conservé leurs bases et leurs chapiteaux, sculptés d'animaux monstrueux. Sur la même façade, une sculpture érodée pourrait représenter un cavalier.

History
This house appears in the compoix of 1343. The two façades present Romanesque remains. The door of the neighbouring building leads to an adjacent courtyard onto which a Gothic turret opens by a sculptured door of the 15th century. The building is distinguished from other constructions in Albi, in brick, by its walls of dressed stone. On rue Saint-Etienne, the part of the façade located to the east presents an elevation in timber framing and brick, but retains in various places the stone ashlar. On this same street, a Romanesque arch was preserved, near the western corner. The round arch is surrounded by an archivolte sculptured with palmettes and continuing, laterally, by two horizontal bands, situated at the level of the capital abacuses and following them. The colonettes of the framing, set against the wall, have retained their bases and their capitals, sculptured with monstrous animals. On the same façade, an eroded sculpture could represent a horseman.
