Historique
Entièrement construite au 12e siècle, l'église n'a subi aucune restauration ni modification, hormis une fenêtre du choeur percée au 18e siècle. L'édifice est à trois nefs voûtées en berceau plein cintre et séparées par des doubleaux à deux rouleaux, terminées par trois absides circulaires. L'oeil de boeuf qui éclaire la nef est orné d'un rang de billettes entre tores cannelés. La première travée est précédée d'une large arcade supportant le clocher dont l'accès se fait par un étroit escalier latéral débouchant entre les deux murs supportant les cloches. En avant de la façade se trouve un porche également du 12e siècle, rare exemple aussi complet. Le porche protège un portail roman à cinq rouleaux dont un garni de colonnes à chapiteaux historiés. Le tympan est orné d'un grand chrisme accompagné de l'alpha et de l'oméga ainsi que de deux colombes et de deux cercles plus petits où l'on voit l'Agneau pascal portant la croix et le Pélican portant également la croix, symbole très rare du Christ donnant son sang pour nourrir spirituellement les fidèles.

History
Entirely built in the 12th century, the church underwent no restoration or modification, except a choir window pierced in the 18th century. The building has three naves vaulted with a round-arch barrel vault and separated by double-roll doubleaux, terminated by three circular apses. The oculus lighting the nave is decorated with a row of billettes between fluted tori. The first bay is preceded by a large arch supporting the bell tower, access to which is by a narrow lateral staircase opening between the two walls supporting the bells. In front of the façade is a porch also of the 12th century, a rare example so complete. The porch protects a Romanesque portal with five rolls, one of which is furnished with columns bearing historiated capitals. The tympanum is decorated with a large chrismon accompanied by alpha and omega as well as two doves and two smaller circles where one sees the Paschal Lamb bearing the cross and the Pelican also bearing the cross, a very rare symbol of Christ giving his blood to nourish the faithful spiritually.
