Historique
Prieuré fondé au 12e siècle, dépendant des abbés de Marcilhac. En 1637, destruction des fortifications des Arques par l'armée royale : l'église et la tour du doyen sont épargnées. En 1792, le logis du doyen est transformé en mairie. Au début du 19e siècle, le prieuré est vendu puis racheté par la commune qui y installe le presbytère. Une muraille ceignait le logis du prieur et la tour qui seule subsiste. Les détails de mouluration des portes permettent de la dater du 14e siècle. Elle était reliée à l'église et percée de deux portes fortifiées. Un bâtiment rectangulaire est accompagné d'une tour ronde d'escalier. Le bâtiment garde la structure du logis du doyen : haut mur pignon à l'est, élévation à deux étages. De nombreuses réfections ont été exécutées du 18e au 20e siècle pour l'aménagement en presbytère puis en logements.

History
Priory founded in the 12th century, dependent on the abbots of Marcilhac. In 1637, destruction of the fortifications of les Arques by the royal army: the church and the tower of the dean were spared. In 1792, the house of the dean was transformed into a town hall. At the beginning of the 19th century, the priory was sold and then repurchased by the commune which installed the presbytery there. It was connected to the church and pierced by two fortified doors. A rectangular building is accompanied by a round staircase tower. The building maintains the structure of the house of the dean: tall pignon wall to the east, elevation of two storeys. Numerous repairs were carried out from the 18th to the 20th century for the conversion into a presbytery and then into dwellings.
