Historique
Cet édifice est l'ancienne église d'un doyenné bénédictin du 12e siècle qui fut cédé en 1280 à l'abbaye de Marcilhac par l'évêque de Cahors. L'église devint paroissiale après la guerre de Cent ans. Elle se compose d'une nef terminée par une abside demi-circulaire, et d'un transept sur lequel s'ouvrent deux chapelles également terminées par des absides arrondies. Le choeur et les chapelles sont décorés d'arcatures en plein cintre retombant sur des colonnettes à chapiteaux sculptés. Le clocher barlong élevé sur la première travée du choeur, a reçu un étage supplémentaire au 19e siècle. Sous le choeur se trouve une crypte de forme rectangulaire avec extrémité arrondie, voûtée d'un berceau prolongé par un cul de four.

History
This building is the former church of a Benedictine deanery of the 12th century which was ceded in 1280 to the abbey of Marcilhac by the bishop of Cahors. The church became parochial after the Hundred Years War. It is composed of a nave terminated by a semi-circular apse, and a transept on which open two chapels also terminated by rounded apses. The choir and chapels are decorated with round-arch arcades resting on small columns with sculpted capitals. The barlong bell tower raised on the first bay of the choir received an additional storey in the 19th century. Beneath the choir is found a crypt of rectangular form with rounded end, vaulted with a barrel vault extended by a semi-dome.
