En 928, l'abbé de Beaulieu donna à l'abbaye, en la villa de Felines, l'église fondée en l'honneur de la Vierge. A cette occasion, les moines bénédictins résolurent d'y établir un prieuré, qui eut pour annexe Betenoux. Le prieuré disparut à la Révolution et l'église vendue est tout ce qu'il en reste. C'est un édifice du 14e siècle, surmonté d'un clocher trapu. L'intérieur conserve quelques vestiges de fresques.

History
In 928, the abbot of Beaulieu gave to the abbey, in the villa of Felines, the church founded in honour of the Virgin. On this occasion, the Benedictine monks resolved to establish a priory there, which had Betenoux as an annex. The priory disappeared during the Revolution and the church, which was sold, is all that remains of it. It is a building of the 14th century, topped by a squat bell tower. The interior preserves some vestiges of frescoes.
