Historique
Gariotte circulaire, d'un diamètre intérieur d'environ cinq mètres, surmontée d'une petite ouverture rectangulaire, dont les murs, d'une largeur de 80cm, sont en pierres calcaires reliées par un mortier. Les murs montent d'aplomb jusqu'à une certaine hauteur. Puis, le constructeur a fait saillir légèrement les nouvelles assises en choisissant des pierres plus régulières afin de maintenir l'équilibre du système. Les pierres sont alors posées en encorbellement jusqu'à l'assise supérieure qui forme un anneau dont l'ouverture n'est plus que de quelques centimètres. Le vide a été rempli par une grosse pierre pour obtenir une clé de voûte. L'adhérence n'existe que dans le sens horizontal, chaque assise restant indépendante de celle qui la supporte. History
Circular gariotte, with an internal diameter of approximately five metres, topped with a small rectangular opening, whose walls, 80cm wide, are made of limestone stones bonded with mortar. The walls rise vertically to a certain height. Then, the builder made the new courses jut out slightly by choosing more regular stones in order to maintain the balance of the system. The stones are then laid in corbelling up to the upper course which forms a ring whose opening is only a few centimetres. The void was filled by a large stone to obtain a keystone. Adhesion exists only in the horizontal direction, each course remaining independent of the one supporting it. The floor is covered with paving. Two openings. Dating indeterminate, this type of shelter having been built until the Revolution.
