Cette tour constitue le reste principal du château des abbés de Faget Abbatial, dont dépendait la bastide. Ce château était déjà en partie ruiné avant la Révolution. La tour est de plan carré. Primitivement, le rez-de-chaussée ne devait comporter aucune ouverture autre que la petite baie du mur sud. Il est voûté en berceau avec une trappe carrée. Du premier étage, un escalier mène au second. C'est un ouvrage caractéristique de l'architecture militaire médiévale des environs d'Auch.

History
This tower constitutes the main remains of the castle of the abbés of Faget Abbatial, on which depended the bastide. This castle was already partly ruined before the Revolution. The tower is of square plan. Originally, the ground floor should have comprised no opening other than the small opening in the south wall. It is vaulted with a barrel vault with a square trap door. From the first floor, a staircase leads to the second. It is a work characteristic of medieval military architecture in the environs of Auch.
