Historique
L'ouverture de la fontaine en arc brisé renferme des arcades en tiers point reposant sur une colonne cylindrique. Elle est protégée par une grille en fer forgé à pointes fleurdelysées du 15e siècle. La voûte en berceau était autrefois ornée de fresques, détériorées par l'humidité. Le bassin intérieur se divise en deux parties. La partie antérieure est voûtée en berceau tiers-point. La partie la plus reculée est voûtée en berceau plein cintre. Le bassin reçoit l'eau de trois sources. La plus importante vient par un couloir voûté par des dalles posées en forme de V renversé. A l'extrémité la plus reculée se trouve un puits qui faisait communiquer le sol supérieur avec la source. Au-dessus de cette construction s'élevait jadis une tour dont les restes ont servi de logement au gardien de la fontaine.

History
The opening of the fountain in broken arch contains arcades in pointed arch resting on a cylindrical column. It is protected by a wrought-iron grille with fleur-de-lis points from the 15th century. The barrel vault was formerly adorned with frescoes, deteriorated by humidity. The interior basin is divided into two parts. The anterior part is vaulted in pointed-arch barrel vault. The most recessed part is vaulted in round-arch barrel vault. The basin receives water from three springs. The most important comes by a corridor vaulted by slabs laid in inverted V form. At the most recessed extremity is found a well which made the upper ground level communicate with the spring. Above this construction formerly stood a tower whose remains served as lodging for the fountain's keeper.
