Ces ponts sont un souvenir de l'histoire économique du Languedoc. L'un fut construit au 17e siècle, l'autre en 1774. Ils correspondent aux constructions du canal du Languedoc et de celui de Brienne. Au 19e siècle, un canal latéral vint s'ajouter aux deux premiers et motiver la construction d'un troisième pont. L'ensemble constitue une belle composition classique rehaussée par le bas-relief du sculpteur François Lucas, placé en 1775.

History
These bridges are a reminder of the economic history of Languedoc. One was built in the 17th century, the other in 1774. They correspond to the construction of the Canal du Languedoc and the Canal de Brienne. In the 19th century, a lateral canal was added to the first two and motivated the construction of a third bridge. The whole constitutes a fine classical composition enhanced by the bas-relief of sculptor François Lucas, placed in 1775.
