Historique

History
The hôtel is due to Antoine Dumay, a Burgundian who studied medicine at Montpellier before becoming regent of the medical faculty of Toulouse and physician to Marguerite de Navarre. From a pre-existing house, he constructs the eastern facade. His sons continue with the north and west facades. Exteriors: 16th century, 17th century; Interiors: 18th century. The whole presents a trapezoidal plan and an S-shaped facade flanked by a small tower. The four interior brick facades are of unequal heights and different in their structure. The courtyard facade of the south wing was formerly surmounted by a terrace, then transformed into an upper storey which encompasses the old small tower. The west wing is a circulation wing. The interior of the East wing contains three rooms, the largest of which retains a French ceiling and a large brick fireplace with a moulded lintel (18th century).
