Edifice représentatif de la période Renaissance, bâti par Pierre d'Assézat, négociant, puis capitoul en 1552. L'hôtel fut vendu en 1761 au baron de Puymaurin qui le transforma au goût du jour. Au fond de la cour, à gauche, se trouvent les deux bâtiments principaux, à deux étages, au-dessus d'un rez-de-chaussée surélevé sur un sous-sol. La porte d'entrée donne sous un porche surmonté d'un étage. A gauche du porche est situé un large portique à arcades en anse de panier. La circulation entre toutes les parties de l'habitation, au premier, s'établit par cet étage du portique communiquant avec l'aile gauche et le dessus du porche d'entrée.

History
Building representative of the Renaissance period, built by Pierre d'Assézat, merchant, then capitoul in 1552. The hôtel was sold in 1761 to the baron de Puymaurin who transformed it according to the taste of the day. At the back of the courtyard, to the left, are the two principal buildings, two storeys high, above a raised ground floor with a basement. The entrance door opens into a porch surmounted by a storey. To the left of the porch is situated a wide porticated arcade in basket-handle form. The circulation between all parts of the dwelling, on the first storey, is established by this storey of the portico communicating with the left wing and above the entrance porch.
