Convent built in the early 17th century. The first mass is celebrated there in 1623. In 1806, the church becomes parochial and is slightly altered to be adapted to its new function. The sanctuary was enlarged by the sacristy. The latter was first installed in a room behind the sanctuary then, when this room was taken for the installation of the orangery of the botanical garden, the sacristy occupied the former chapel of the Infant Jesus. In 1820, convent and cloister became a school of medicine then, in 1861, museum of natural history. The plan presents a single nave furnished with lateral chapels and a flat chevet. The novelty resides in the decoration where painting plays an important role. Beneath the choir, a brick crypt vaulted in basket-handle form presents a north wall pierced with fourteen niches on two levels. Three galleries of the former cloister remain. A false gallery was constructed to the north.
