Ce collège, grâce aux restaurations exécutées par Viollet-le-Duc, est l'un des témoins de la vie universitaire à Toulouse au Moyen-Age. Ces collèges, autrefois nombreux, furent créés au 14e siècle pour recevoir les étudiants trop pauvres, qui y trouvaient un logement avec bourse d'étude. Reconstruit en 1523 par l'architecte Louis Privat, l'édifice maintient la tradition du gothique méridional toulousain, architecture de briques caractéristique avec faux mâchicoulis et ouvertures en chemin de ronde sous le toit. History
This college, thanks to the restorations carried out by Viollet-le-Duc, is one of the witnesses to university life in Toulouse in the Middle Ages. These colleges, once numerous, were created in the 14th century to receive students too poor to live elsewhere, who found accommodation there with study grants. Rebuilt in 1523 by the architect Louis Privat, the building maintains the tradition of Toulouse southern Gothic, characteristic brick architecture with false machicolations and openings in the parapet passage under the roof.
