Elle présente un clocher octogonal de type toulousain. En 1538-1548, un grand choeur voûté fut raccroché à la nef gothique lambrissée et une crypte aménagée dessous. Travaux durant l'époque classique. Au 19e siècle, réalisation du décor néo-classique du choeur, sous l'Empire ; voûtement en bois de la nef ; construction de chapelles latérales.

History
Built in the 12th century at the heart of the "castrum novum" thanks to the counts of Comminges who made Muret their capital, the church was rebuilt and enlarged in the 14th and 15th centuries. It presents an octagonal bell tower of the Toulouse type. In 1538-1548, a large vaulted choir was attached to the lambrissed Gothic nave and a crypt arranged beneath it. Works during the classical period. In the 19th century, realisation of the neo-classical decoration of the choir, under the Empire; wooden vaulting of the nave; construction of lateral chapels.
