La chapelle était située hors de l'enceinte de l'ancien fort, démoli en 1840, à l'extrémité extérieure d'un ancien pont-levis. C'est un petit édifice en briques cuites, à nef rectangulaire et choeur en demi cercle avec charpente plafonnée. Un auvent précède l'entrée que surmonte un petit campanile. La forme de l'édifice peut laisser supposer qu'il s'agit d'une des anciennes tours de l'enceinte.

History
The chapel was situated outside the enclosure of the old fort, demolished in 1840, at the outer extremity of an old drawbridge. It is a small building in fired brick, with rectangular nave and choir in a half-circle with a coffered roof structure. An awning precedes the entrance which is surmounted by a small bell tower. The form of the building may suggest that it is one of the old towers of the enclosure.
