L'ancienne église était liée à l'abbaye cistercienne de la Lumière-Dieu, en Comminges, détruite à la Révolution. C'est une petite église rurale bâtie au 17e siècle sur des soubassements d'époque romane, et dont la porte est abritée par un emban au pied du clocher-mur, lui-même percé de deux baies où se trouvent les cloches. A l'intérieur, la nef unique est couverte d'un plafond de bois à petits caissons (1696) couverts de peintures à motif floral. Le choeur possède des lambris (1714-1717) où était prévu l'emplacement de toiles décorant l'autel. Décor intérieur et mobilier de la première moitié du 18e siècle.

History
The former church was linked to the Cistercian abbey of Lumière-Dieu, in Comminges, destroyed at the Revolution. It is a small rural church built in the 17th century on Romanesque period foundations, and whose door is sheltered by a porch at the foot of the bell-gable, itself pierced with two openings where the bells are found. Inside, the single nave is covered with a wooden ceiling with small coffered panels (1696) covered with paintings with floral motif. The choir has wainscoting (1714-1717) where the space for canvases decorating the altar was planned. Interior decoration and furnishings from the first half of the 18th century.
