Le beffroi se compose d'une tour carrée massive remontant au 11e siècle, surmontée d'une tour octogonale édifiée en 1614. La partie romane comporte trois salles superposées, voûtées en berceau. L'accès se fait directement de l'extérieur à la salle haute, pour redescendre ensuite dans les salles inférieures. Le sommet se terminait en terrasse probablement entourée d'un crénelage avec un châtelet central octogonal. Ce châtelet fut surmonté au 17e siècle de la tour actuelle, couverte alors d'une charpente et toiture en poivrière. Cette dernière aurait été détruite par le feu en 1811, et remplacée par la terrasse actuelle.

History
The belfry consists of a massive square tower dating back to the 11th century, surmounted by an octagonal tower built in 1614. The Romanesque section comprises three superimposed rooms, vaulted with barrel vaults. Access is made directly from the outside to the upper room, to descend afterwards into the lower rooms. The summit ended in a terrace probably surrounded by crenellations with a central octagonal turret. This turret was surmounted in the 17th century by the present tower, then covered with roof structure and roof in the form of a pepperpot. The latter would have been destroyed by fire in 1811, and replaced by the present terrace.
