Historique
Construction du Moyen-Age et du 17e siècle, acquise par le baron de Galy pour en faire une école de jeunes filles, confiée à des religieuses en 1826. Elle devient école publique lors de la laïcisation. La transformation en école a entraîné la démolition de la partie sud du corps de logis principal, et l'obstruction des loggia qui s'ouvraient à chaque palier. Seule la partie nord-est présente un intérêt archéologique. Le portail d'entrée en plein cintre orné de colonnes et de chapiteaux sans doute médiévaux, s'ouvre sur un petit couloir voûté d'ogives donnant accès à un escalier monumental Louis XIII. A l'origine, cet escalier devait être ouvert, comme le laissent supposer, sur la façade orientale, la trace de deux arcades superposées correspondant aux étages et la rangée de balustres du premier étage.

History
Construction from the Middle Ages and 17th century, acquired by the baron de Galy to make it a school for young girls, entrusted to nuns in 1826. It becomes a public school at the time of secularization. The transformation into a school led to the demolition of the southern part of the main dwelling block, and the blocking of the loggias that opened on each landing. Only the north-east part presents archaeological interest. The entrance portal with round arch decorated with columns and capitals probably medieval, opens onto a small vaulted corridor with rib vault giving access to a monumental Louis XIII staircase. Originally, this staircase must have been open, as suggested by the trace on the eastern façade of two superimposed arcades corresponding to the storeys and the row of balusters on the first storey.
