Toulouse Lautrec y vécut pendant son enfance. Deux tours encadrent un corps de logis, bâtis en pierre de Gneiss. Les tours sont coiffées d'une couverture en forme de dôme écrasé. A l'origine, la forteresse était entourée de douves et couronnée de mâchicoulis. Le château tel qu'il se présente aujourd'hui remonte à la fin du 15e siècle - début 16e, sur des bases anciennes. Dans la salle des gardes, cheminée Renaissance (1521).

History
Toulouse Lautrec lived there during his childhood. Two towers frame a main dwelling, built of Gneiss stone. The towers are topped with a covering in the form of a flattened dome. Originally, the fortress was surrounded by moats and crowned with machicolations. The castle as it presents itself today dates from the end of the 15th century - early 16th, on old foundations. In the guard room, Renaissance fireplace (1521).
