History
In the 10th century, foundation of a Benedictine priory dependent on the abbey of Lézat, housing the relics of Saint-Suzanne, martyr of the 3rd century. In the 12th century, construction of the present building. In 1568, the church is greatly damaged owing to the Wars of Religion. It presents a Carolingian plan of three adjoining apses, vaulted in cul-de-four for the apsidioles, in ribs for the main apse. The old portal opened to the south, at the far end of the church. The present portal is arranged to the north. Damaged mural paintings on the walls of the apses.
